UV Beam Displacers
Halbo Optics is closed for business - see Homepage
These simple MgF2 components provide a means of separating polarized beams with constant displacement. The UV beam displacers are oriented with entrance and exit faces parallel and inclined at 45° to the optic axis to maximise the displacement.

Displacement Factor
The displacement factor that relates the lateral offset to thickness varies from 0·003 to 0·009 over the usable spectral range 120nm - 480nm.
Mounts
These displacers are supplied unmounted as free components unless mounting is specified at the time of ordering. The mount design is in the form of a simple tube with silicone rubber, giving access to the input and output beams. To specify mounted displacers, simply add suffix:
M2 for Type 2 mount (shown)
RM5 for Type 5 rotation mount
