These Glan Taylor type polarizers are designed such that all four calcite-air interfaces for the transmitted extraordinary beam are at Brewster`s angle. This results in a transmission to p-polarized input beams as high as 98%. Note that a lateral displacement is introduced to the emerging beam. Two escape windows are included as standard.

Mounts

These polarizers are supplied unmounted as free components unless mounting is specified at the time of ordering. The mount design gives open access to all three beams and facilitates occasional cleaning. To specify mounted polarizers, simply add suffix:
